Calathea ‘Medallion’

Calathea ‘Medallion’ has impressive displays of round patterned leaves with a deep purple underside. It has a very dramatic aesthetic, as well as being known a bit of a diva in its nature. 
In the right environment, Medallion can thrive and be very low maintenance. Medium sunlight is best for these, such as a north facing window or an area where the sunlight that reaches it is less intense. High humidity it perfect for these, so kitchen or bathroom is ideal. Calatheas like to sit at a fairly consistent temperature anywhere between 18-28°C. Drastic changes in temperature, especially in the winter will make them very unhappy.
